H.O.P.E. (Helping Our Pupils Excel) Tutoring Center, Inc. began in 1996 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church and soon became a nonprofit, community-wide organization in the Arlington area. H.O.P.E. Tutoring Center is available during the school year to all students in 3rd through 8th grade. Tutoring is provided free of charge by volunteers from the community. No religious education occurs during the tutoring session.

Mission Statement:
To provide a safe and caring environment in which children and youth can learn and grow. We will give FREE TUTORING to those in the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. We will help them with their reading, math, and homework.

H.O.P.E. (Helping Our Pupils Excel) Tutoring Center can help YOU make a valuable contribution to Arlington area youth, many of whom come from low to very low income homes. By making an annual (tax-deductible) $1500.00 contribution to keep H.O.P.E. afloat, you will help us help students graduate from high school and become positively contributing members of our society and workforce. When students succeed in school they feel good about themselves and are more likely to graduate.

H.O.P.E. Tutoring Center is open to 3rd-8th grade students during the school year on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30 - 4:30 P.M, and 6:30 - 7:30 P.M.
